God is love, and He sees us through eyes of love!
But what does that really mean? How does a person take an unseen truth, like God’s love, and make it “real” in their lives?
Well my friends, God is one step ahead of us, and by creating dog, gives us a glimpse of His loving nature. God’s loving attributes can actually be observed in all of creation. But for me, and for many others around the world, one of the clearest evidences of God’s unconditional love can be seen in the way a dog interacts with his owners.
When I’m with my dogs I feel so special! Despite my human flaws and frailties, my dogs allow me to see myself through their eyes—the eyes of love.
Having observed and experienced the loving regard of my dogs for almost my entire life, I can’t help but wonder . . . could God have created dogs to give us a glimpse into His loving nature? And if so, what should be our response?
I think if we truly saw ourselves as “loved by God”, self-esteem issues would fade . . . hurts would heal . . . sadness would be replaced by joy, we’d know that we are accepted, beautiful, and unconditionally loved . . . simply said— we’d see ourselves, others, and our world . . .
THROUGH EYES OF LOVE!
For years I’ve been soaking up the love my dogs so freely give, and have been so fortunate to experience God’s unconditional love as a result. Having received so much, I can’t help but share with others the amazing life-lessons learned from my dogs, which is one of the reasons I created this blog, to share God’s love!
