Hang in there, you are loved!
Sometimes, life is hard, and we just need to know that we are loved. We’ve all been there. When I’m feeling down, I try to remember how much God loves me. I mean really, really, loves me . . . unconditionally.
Today, as I contemplate the meaning of Good Friday, and the cross, I am reminded how deeply I am loved. Never was unconditional love more clear than at the cross. “For God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners” (Romans 5:8). As the owner of several adorable dogs, I am reminded daily that I am loved unconditionally. I have no doubt that God created dogs with this in mind, to give us a glimpse of His unfailing, faithful, steadfast, unconditional love, while we walk this dusty broken road called life.
On this Good Friday, I’m praying that you will feel overwhelmed by God’s unfailing love. Whatever you are going through, I’m praying you’ll hang in there, and cling to God’s love . . .
God loves you and cares for . . .
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. —Zephaniah 3:17

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. —Psalm 86:15

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. — John 3:16-17
