The 75th anniversary of D-Day stirs up profound gratitude in my heart. Gratitude to all the men and women who served our country, and sacrificed so much for our freedom. It also stirs up deep gratitude to all the dogs who became part of the armed forces and bravely served alongside them. One such dog was Brian, a tough parachuting dog (a 2 year old Alsatian-Collie cross) who turned into a war hero and earned a medal for his service.
