Hang in there, you are loved!
Sometimes, life is hard, and we just need to know that we are loved. We’ve all been there. When I’m feeling down, I try to remember how much God loves me. I mean really, really, loves me . . . unconditionally.
Today, as I contemplate the meaning of Good Friday, and the cross, I am reminded how deeply I am loved. Never was unconditional love more clear than at the cross. “For God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners” (Romans 5:8). As the owner of several adorable dogs, I am reminded daily that I am loved unconditionally. I have no doubt that God created dogs with this in mind, to give us a glimpse of His unfailing, faithful, steadfast, unconditional love, while we walk this dusty broken road called life. I’m so grateful for Easter. It means I get a second chance!
Do you have a dream?
Watching my dogs chase a ball with such determination, drive, and force inspires me to
chase my dreams,
and never give up!
I’m feeling lonely today. Please encourage my heart. Remind me that I am never alone, even when I feel alone. Thank you for the promise that you are with me always. Today, I entrust all my emotions into your hand, and believe that you will care for me. Help me to sense your comforting presence, even now.
Sometimes you just need time away. Something deep within you is calling you to the quiet. When that happens, it’s important to listen . . .

Right outside my door sits this beautiful flower-pot overflowing with purple petunias. Just a simple reminder that I’m surrounded by blessings!
Today I was looking at it and thinking how awesome the color purple is! “Majesty” is the word that comes to mind when I see purple. Purple is royal, stately, it bears a quality of grandeur. It makes me think of Jesus – the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
I think if the flowers could sing, they’d be singing praises to King Jesus, our beloved Lord and Savior—
“Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11
