Hurricane Harvey hit hard! Yet from the floods arose countless heroes!
During a natural disaster, animals are often abandoned, and pets ripped away from their owners. Yet amidst the chaos of Hurricane Harvey, countless men and women weren’t going to leave their pets (or anyone’s pets) behind.
All creatures great and small matter.

The internet is packed with incredible videos and photos of people rescuing all sorts of animals (dogs, cats, horses, cattle . . .) during Hurricane Harvey. In this short blog post I’d like to share a few of those videos to highlight these heroes.

NO DOG SHOULD HAVE TO SUFFER IN SILENCE
Dog anxiety, like the human anxiety, can be a debilitating and often painful experience.
If you’ve ever felt worried, uneasy, or nervous about an upcoming event or something with an uncertain outcome, or had a panic attack, you know exactly what I’m talking about! Sadly, many dogs suffer in silence because the owners are simply unaware of the signs. Having experienced a season of anxiety myself, I can’t imagine leaving a dog in an anxious state without offering help. Thankfully, there are things we can do to help our furry friends in their times of need.
The purpose of this article is to help you to recognize the signs of dog anxiety and learn how to offer relief.

Dog rescue is an emotional topic. None of us likes to see animals suffer. Thank God for shelters and all the amazing people who rescue dogs, and give them safe and loving home.
