Dog rescue is an emotional topic. None of us likes to see animals suffer. Thank God for shelters and all the amazing people who rescue dogs, and give them safe and loving home. This poem by an unknown author tugs at the heart and reminds us of the great responsibility involved in dog ownership . . . it may even cause us to shed a few tears.
